Review: Tove Lo brings ‘Queen of the Clouds’ tour to The Paramount (Includes first-hand account)

The Swedish songstress began her set with “Not On Drugs” and “Got Love,” prior to breaking into “The Way That I Am” and the gorgeous ballad “Moments,” where the stage was graced in purple lights, as she displayed her ethereal voice.

The highlight vocal in her set was her seductive performance of her smash radio single “Talking Body,” which garnered the most hype from her fans, especially the men in the audience. Its beat was hypnotic and everybody was reciting the lyrics verbatim to her. She closed with “Paradise” and “Timebomb,” where she left the crowd yearning for more.

For her encore, Tove Lo returned to The Paramount stage to sing “Run On Love,” as well as her breakthrough smash single “Habits (Stay High),” which was the song that everybody was waiting for, and she was able to deliver.

The Verdict

Overall, Tove Lo put on a very passionate and entertaining performance at The Paramount. She was not afraid to showcase her vulnerability as an artist. She is worth seeing live whenever she is in the area. She is arguable one of pop music’s most underrated female entertainers. Her live show earned an A rating.
