It was co-produced by Dann Huff and Jesse Frasure, with Chris DeStefano and Joe London also being a part of the production credits. Tangled Up opens with the feel-good “Anthem” and its infectious, chart-topping lead single “Crash and Burn.” “South Side” has a bluesy vibe to it, with a neat groove.
His album’s sophomore single “Die A Happy Man” is a moving acoustic ballad that touches the heart. “Vacation” is a sassy, party tune, while “Like It’s The Last Time” is another well-crafted ballad. He gets flirty on “T-Shirt” and “Single Girl” also has the potential to become another country radio single.
“The Day You Stop Lookin’ Back” is more mellow and melodically-stunning, while “Tangled” has a retro, disco vibe to it. “Playing With Fire” is a charming duet with former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. “I Feel Good” is upbeat and he collaborates with hip-hop recording artist LunchMoney Lewis. It closes with the remarkable tune “Learned It From The Radio,” which many musicians and fans can relate to.

Overall, Thomas Rhett soars on his latest studio album Tangled Up. It is recommended for country fans that enjoy listening to energetic, party songs. It is highly eclectic with elements of country, pop, adult contemporary, R&B, blues, rock, rap, dance and oldies. His CD garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
