Review: ‘The Supernaturalists’ original soundtrack is exceptional (Includes first-hand account)

It s a 2 CD set, featuring 29 songs, which were written, produced, recorded and mixed by Klayton. All of the songs were performed by Celldweller. Magician Criss Angel was responsible for the live show’s musical arrangement. He is also the production’s creator, executive producer and director.

Disc one consists of such production numbers as “Animation,” “Copycat,” which includes the original “Mindfreak” theme song, as well as “End of an Empire” for the “Femme Fatale” segment of the show. Manipulator Stefan Vanel’s set comes to life thanks to the tune “Against the Tide.” The second disc, begins with the dog conjuror act, and “Jupiter” is extraordinary, since the audience member can recall Adrian Vega’s live close-up magic. “Ursa Minor” from “Enigma” and “So Long Sentiment” from escape artists Spencer Horsman’s “Submerged” are two enthralling tracks.

A few weeks ago, he brought “The Supernaturalists” back home to Long Island to The Paramount.

The Verdict

For anybody who has yet to see Criss Angel’s “The Supernaturalists,” they could get a great taste of the show thanks to its musical score on this 2 CD set. This original soundtrack has a modern edge to it and is quite refreshing. It will help the fan or listener capture the production’s mood and intensity, which helps prove why it is the best ensemble magic show out there. It garners an A rating.
