The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air premiered the new “Steal My Sunshine” music video at The Paramount prior to their June 10 concert on its giant, televised screen, and it was well-received by the fans and audience as they kicked off their set. Later in that show, they performed their live version of the song, which brought the classic Len tune to life.
Mat sings the opening verse, and Robin, Oscar and Charlie subsequently join in, and the girls in the band (Estee and Gabby) delight on the backing vocals, prior to the ladies taking over the lead vocals in the following choruses. The video depicts all band members having a great deal of fun at the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn.
The Verdict
Overall, The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air delivered on their take of “Steal My Sunshine.” It truly puts the listeners in the summer spirit. The Canadian rock band (Len) would be pleased with this killer version, and their uplifting music video.
