“Swing Into Romance,” starring Danica McKellar, David Haydn-Jones, and Gleb Savchenko, is a new film on Great American Family. It premiered on Saturday, October 7.

The movie was written by Marcy Holland and directed by Bradley Walsh.

In this romantic comedy, a former dancer Christine Sims (Danica McKellar) temporarily returns to her hometown just in time for the town’s Fall Festival. It is there that she discovers that her family’s General Store is in trouble.

In her efforts to save the business, Christine will need to dust off those dancing shoes one more time, face her ex-fiancé, and maybe even find love.

McKellar works well with both David Haydn-Jones who plays her new dance partner Matthew, and Gleb Savchenko, who is noteworthy as Alex, her former fiancé, in his first movie debut.

The plot is engaging, realistic, and heartfelt to the point where the audience is bound to find it relatable.

The actors are able to showcase their dancing chops, and it is evident that all the training that Danica received back in her “Dancing with the Stars” days in the ballroom came in handy. There is something in it for everyone, and it is feel-good and entertaining. Well done.
