Review: Susan Boyle belts out ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ on ‘AGT: The Champions’ (Includes first-hand account)

This NBC show is described as the “Olympics of Got Talent,” especially since it features 50 of the best contestants worldwide. Fan favorite Susan Boyle made it to the finals (Top 12) and performed her signature song “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables, which showcased the control and sheer power in her voice.

Her upcoming studio album, Ten, is available for pre-order on iTunes, as well as Amazon Music.

The Verdict

Overall, Susan Boyle delivered a stellar performance of “I Dreamed a Dream,” and proved that she only gets better with age and experience. Boyle was able to evoke raw emotions with this iconic tune, and she had the crowd (and audiences watching at home and online) with her every step of the way. Most importantly, this song displayed her sense of triumph, and she serves as a great inspiration for us all.

Boyle received excellent feedback from all four judges, where they praised her for being the quintessential definition of the word “champion,” and rightfully so. Her performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” garnered an A+ rating.
