Review: Steve Grand back with soaring new single ‘Walking’ (Includes first-hand account)

In this song, the male narrator reminisces about a previous relationship. The song was penned solely by Grand, and it was subsequently mixed by Tim Palmer. Grand also served as producer of the song.

The song is mid-tempo, and a great deal of fun, just in time for the summer season. When he belts out the “side” note, he makes it seem effortless. There is a rawness and authenticity to the music that he puts out for his fans.

“Walking” is available on iTunes.

The Verdict

Steve Grand delivers on the catchy tune “Walking,” which displays his growth as a singer, songwriter and recording artist. This song showcases a different side to Grand’s artistry, but it is another keeper. If this tune is any indication on how his new album is going to sound like, then it is safe to say that Steve Grand fans are in for a treat. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
