“Sports!” is a compelling short LGBTQ film that was directed by social influencer Kyle Krieger. It is a good short movie to watch during the quarantine and during the month of Pride.
It was written by Eduardo Sanchez-Ubanell with cinematography by Jacques Lorch.
The synopsis of “Sports!” is as follows: When Zach (Zack Graves) brings along his thirsty, nosey roommate, Eduardo, to his basketball pick-up game with his straight best friend (played by Cody Callahan of “Animal Kingdom” fame)… the outcome of the game takes an unexpected turn when Zach has to confront which team he is really on.
Eduardo and Zach are both gay and they are roommates. When Zach tells Eduardo that he is going to play basketball with a straight friend, Eduardo “invites” himself along and, eventually, helps Zach to confront his friend about a crucial and vital secret that may or not change their relationship and/or friendship.
