Review: Singer-songwriter Savannah Conley soars on new ‘Twenty-Twenty’ EP (Includes first-hand account)

It opens with “Same Old Eyes,” which features her crisp, crystalline voice. It is followed by the atmospheric and haunting ”
All I Wanted,” where her vocals are pure as the driven snow. Her three-song EP closes with the mid-tempo “Never Be Ourselves.”

Conley collaborated on her Twenty-Twenty EP with Grammy award-winning producer Dave Cobb, who has worked with such noteworthy artists as Chris Stapleton and Anderson East.

Rolling Stone named Conley as an “Artist You Need To Know,” and rightfully so. This summer, Conley performed at several festivals and she played two dates with The Head and the Heart, prior to going on a fall tour supporting Anderson East this October.

Throughout her music career, Conley has shared the stage with label-mate Brent Cobb and Vance Joy, and in 2016, she was the recipient of the “John Lennon Songwriter’s Award.”

Twenty-Twenty by Savannah Conley is available on iTunes.

The Verdict

Overall, Savannah Conley showcases a tremendous deal of talent on this three-track EP Twenty-Twenty. Conley’s future in the music industry should be bright and promising. This EP garners an A rating.
