Ernesto Dìaz Espinoza directed the movie from a screenplay by Mat Sansom.
The synopsis is: After his release from prison, one man makes it his mission to right a terrible wrong by revealing a secret that could end his life.
Scott Adkins stars as Kris Chaney, a warrior who seizes the daughter of a Colombian gangster to fulfill a noble promise to the young girl’s mother.

Scott Adkins is a triumph as Kris Chaney, while Marko Zaror delivers one of the finest turns of his career as El Corvo, where he is able to humanize the anti-hero. Alanna De La Rossa is memorable as well in the role of Elisa.
The Verdict
Overall, “Diablo” is an intense, high-adrenaline film that will keep the audience at the edge of their seats the entire time. This throwdown is thoroughly entertaining, and a must for fans of martial arts films.
It has an old-school, retro action thriller vibe to it, which is quite nostalgic. The fight scenes were expertly choreographed, and as a whole, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Ernesto Dìaz Espinoza knows how to give the audience exactly what they want in the action movie genre. Prepare to be blown away… literally.
“Diablo” is feel-good escapism at its finest, and it garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. Well done.
