Review: Sarah Brightman ethereal on ‘Sogni,’ to release new album (Includes first-hand account)

This musical effort will be released via Decca Gold and the Universal Music Group. Hymn is Brightman’s first new music since her Dreamchaser album came out in 2013. She worked on this project with longtime producer and collaborator Frank Peterson.

The songstress released the first track “Sogni,” which is a stunning collaboration with internationally recognized tenor Vincent Niclo. She showcases her crystalline, powerhouse voice on the song, which is controlled and resonant. Both of their vocals blend well together, and it is evident that Sarah Brightman gets better with age and experience. “Sogni” garners an A rating.

Brightman will be embarking on a world tour to support this new album. The North American leg of her tour will kick off on January 30, 2019, at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland. On February 6, she will be performing at the hallowed Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

“Sogni” is available on Spotify. If this song is any indication of how Hymn is going to sound, then her fans and listeners are in for a treat. The album will feature a new version of “Time to Say Goodbye,” her signature duet with global music star Andrea Bocelli.

Her album Hymn is available for pre-order on iTunes.
