Review: Sammi Rae Murciano performs live at Adventureland theme park (Includes first-hand account)

She opened her set with a cover of Journey’s “Faithfully,” and followed it up with Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood,” which resonated well with the young fans at the theme park, as they sang along.

Murciano continued with Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect,” which she sang in English and Italian, and Noah Cyrus’ “Make Me (Cry).” She went on to introduce her own original song “Reflection,” which she wrote about her experiences being bullied growing up.

After Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years,” she paid homage to Dua Lipa with “Scared to Be Lonely” and Bruno Mars with the female version of “When I Was Your Man.” Murciano took the time to introduce each song as she was performing.

She delivered another original song “Back To Me,” which she wrote about overcoming hardships. She also sang MAX’s “Lights Down Low” and James Arthur’s “Can I Be.”

After “Never Letting Go,” she closed her one-hour set with Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” and on an inspirational note with Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

On August 26, Murciano will be a part of a music concert fundraiser, hosted by radio host Dan Romano, where the proceeds will benefit the Farmingdale Fire Department.
