Review: Sammi Rae Murciano finds strength with new single ‘Reflection’ (Includes first-hand account)

In this song, the young songstress shines light on bullying through her personal experiences. It was inspired by her own hardships, and it is an anthem of empowerment.

According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, one out of every five students in America has been bullied in one form or another. Murciano, having been a victim of bullying, was able to turn that hardship into art, with her latest single “Reflection.” She turned to her music and singing, which in return, made her stronger. It wash er form of escape from feeling hurt and bullied. Her journal turned into a diary for songs that told her own story.

“Reflection” was recorded at The Loft Sound Studio with recording artist Donnie Klang and engineer Matthew LaPorte. This production helped enhance the song’s powerful message.

The songbird was drawn to singing from a young age. She was in chorus, where she had a solo part. The best feeling in the world for her was performing in front of people. At that moment, she knew that she wanted to pursue music for the rest of her life. Her dream someday is to embark on a worldwide tour, as well as to play the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. Murciano, who is a YouTube sensation when it comes to cover songs, also announced that she will be releasing a brand new EP this fall.
