Review: Ryan Cabrera charms on new ‘Wake Up Beautiful’ EP (Includes first-hand account)

His new album opens with his latest radio single “House on Fire,” where he soars on the tune and its music video. It is followed by the appropriately-titled “Sing Along,” which is a neat tune to sing along to, as its title states.

“Forgot How To Fly” is a gorgeous ballad that Cabrera sings effortlessly, with vivid lyrics. His vocals are soothing and refreshing and it will resonate well with his listeners. Fans that enjoyed his hit single “True” will certainly like “Forgot How To Fly.”

An equally elegant ballad is “All We Have,” which is pure ear candy. His CD closes with “I See Love.”

The Verdict

Overall, Ryan Cabrera delivers on his latest studio EP Wake Up Beautiful. While it consists of only five tracks, they are all high-quality tunes. It is recommended for fans of pop, acoustic, indie and adult contemporary music. His album earns 4.5 out of 5 stars.
