Review: Ray Price amazing on new single ‘I Wish I Was 18 Again’ (Includes first-hand account)

It is a stellar ballad that displays Country Music Hall of Famer Ray Price at his finest. Prior to his passing, he poured a great deal of emotion in that song, and it will certainly resonate well with his dedicated fans. It really tugs at the heartstrings, and his vocals are reminiscent of such musical greats as Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

In addition, his musical legacy continues thanks to ESPN connections, a television tribute by Country’s Family Reunion Tribute, as well as his latest Beauty Is album, which received rave reviews from Digital Journal, among countless other outlets.

Price’s final studio album was produced by acclaimed producer Fred Foster and it debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts, his highest solo appearance in over three decades. It features the stunning duet with country superstar Martina McBride, “An Affair To Remember.”

His widow, Janie Price, was interviewed by Digital Journal this past November.
