Review: RaeLynn tugs at the heart on new country single ‘Love Triangle’ (Includes first-hand account)

RaeLynn co-penned “Love Triangle” in 2013 with songwriter Nicolle Galyon, who collaborated with the songstress on her breakthrough hit, the whimsical “God Made Girls.”

This song has one of the most powerful choruses. “Some mommas and daddies let their heart strings tear and tangle, and some of us get stuck in a love triangle,” RaeLynn sings, in her sweet southern twang.

RaeLynn’s “Love Triangle” is available on iTunes.

The Verdict

“Love Triangle” is emotional yet cathartic at the same time, to the point where many fans and listeners can relate to. RaeLynn is not afraid to showcase her vulnerability as a country recording artist, and displays a great deal of inner strength. It is equal in excellence to Kellie Pickler’s poignant ballad “I Wonder.” This song deserves five out of five stars.
