Review: RaeLynn delivers stunning Stage 17 performance for NASH FM 94.7 (Includes first-hand account)

“Hello. How is everybody today?” asked radio personality Katie Neal from NASH FM 94.7, who hosted this Stage 17 show. Neal went on to praise RaeLynn for her spunky and bubbly personality.

“I’m excited to be here,” RaeLynn said, prior to noting that she played for NASH FM three times in the past, but she praised the new stage for looking “amazing.” She thanked her fans for affording her the privilege to have a No. 1 album on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts with her new CD Wildhorse.

Speaking of the new album, RaeLynn opened her set by singing the title track song “Wildhorse,” where she was backed by acoustic guitar and percussion. The song was an anthem of female empowerment.

When Katie Neal asked her what it felt like to have a No. 1 record on the country charts, RaeLynn admitted that she initially thought that people were lying to her. RaeLynn underscored the importance of hard work and the time you put in things, and how anything is possible. She gave the comparison of having “all seeds planted” and now these seeds “started growing.”

It was followed by her breakthrough single, the whimsical “God Made Girls,” which is a song that she described as “one of her favorites.” She closed her show with her latest radio single “Love Triangle,” which is told from a little girl’s perspective of her parents’ divorce. Her vocal performance was haunting yet beautiful, where she was able to move a few fans to tears. For RaeLynn, she shared that co-writing the songs on the album was a therapeutic process.

The Verdict

Overall, RaeLynn was able to delight at Stage 17 at the NASH FM 94.7 radio station. Her honey-rich vocals and warm personality were well-received by all. Her live set garnered an A rating.
