Actor Peter Porte is a revelation in the new original Peacock limited series “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.” Digital Journal has the scoop.

The synopsis is as follows: Some of Salem’s super-couples reconnect with favorites in this exclusive-to-Peacock digital series. Over a long weekend, John and Marlena travel to Zurich, Ben and Ciara have a honeymoon in New Orleans, Chad visits Will and Sonny in Phoenix, Arizona, while Abe, Paulina, Lani and Eli vacation in Miami, Florida.

All find themselves embroiled in a mystery involving stolen jewels which, in the wrong hands, could cause dire consequences for Salem. It’s a race against time for ISA agent Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna) as she crosses the world in search of this Alamainian treasure.

Peter Porte is cast as Agent Kyle Graham, who works alongside Billie Reed, and he nails the role. They share an impressive tango dance together, and they have great chemistry (work-wise and relationship-wise). Equally memorable are Porte’s scenes opposite Eileen Davidson, who is back as Kristen DiMera, when his character and Billie confront her.

Without giving too much away, there will be many twists and turns in the fifth episode entitled “Endgame,” and who knows perhaps we will hear Porte talking in a different accent. Rest assured, most if not all of the conflicts will get resolved by the end of this episode.

The Verdict

Overall, Peter Porte delivers a bold and badass acting performance as Agent Kyle Graham in “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem,” and hopefully, there will be a lot more where that came from. Porte deserves to be commended for a job well done.

Perhaps we will see him in future installments of this Peacock series (should it get renewed), or maybe he will crossover to the actual “Days of Our Lives” drama series. In Salem, you never know.
