Pentatonix and Ringo Starr release “Happy Birthday Beautiful,” which was written by Diane Warren.

It features the Grammy award-winning acapella group Pentatonix on lead vocals with Ringo Starr on the drums. Ironically enough, the song’s release coincided with Diane Warren’s actual birthday.

The song’s poignant lyrics describe the birthday person as a “natural wonder” who “broke the mold”; moreover, it promises to “raise a glass” and “shout it loud” in order to celebrate them on their special day as they enjoy their trip around the sun.

Warren’s goal was to write a song that “breathed new life into the classic birthday songs we know and love,” and rightfully so. “Happy Birthday Beautiful” is upbeat, anthemic, and a great deal of fun.

This collaboration is truly a match made in musical heaven. It features a timeless Beatle (Ringo Starr), a Grammy-winning acapella band (Pentatonix), and one of the most prolific and accomplished songwriters of our time (Honorary Oscar winner Diane Warren).

This song allowed them to blend musical and design elements together, in an effort to to add new excitement to birthday celebrations.

It will resonate well with fans and listeners, especially when the time comes to blow out birthday candles or to cut the cakes.

“Happy Birthday Beautiful” is available on digital service providers by clicking here. It garners two thumbs up. Congratulations to Diane Warren once again for catching a clever and catchy tune.

This song deserves to become the next big “Happy Birthday” standard (in the same vein as Stevie Wonder’s classic “Happy Birthday” tune). Well done.
