Paul van Dyk took the stage at 1:30 a.m. and the crowd energy was tremendous. He was able to Pacha an intimate night of electronic dance music (EDM) to remember. Even though the fans may have not known all of the song titles, it did not matter to the very least. He knew how to command the dance-floor, and he allowed the crowd to let loose and have an enjoyable time, as his electronic music transported them to different realms.

The Verdict

Overall, Paul van Dyk was sensational at Pacha in the heart of New York City. If one has yet to see Paul van Dyk perform live, then one’s life is not quite complete. He was a charismatic performer, and he poured a great deal of heart into his DJ set, and this resonated well with his audience, especially since they were left thirsty for more. He let his strong melodies, hooks and impressive synth beats do all the talking, and he succeeded in that respect. Paul van Dyk is a true original and a gem to behold. His live DJ set at Pacha garnered an A rating.
