The quintet of musicians is signed to RCA Nashville. Their single “Break Up with Him” sits at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, and climbing. All five band-mates co-wrote the song, and it has spent six weeks at the top of SiriusXM’s “The Highway Hot 45 Countdown,” proving that they are a true force to be reckoned with.
Its lyrics are conversational, convincing and optimistic. “That song came on and I just thought what harm could come from one little call? I know you say you’re taken, but I say girl you’re taking too long,” Ramsey sings.

Old Dominion is comprised of Matthew Ramsey on lead vocals, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung on bass and Brad Tursi on lead guitar. Over the course of their career, their songs have been recorded by such country music acts as The Band Perry, mega-star Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Jake Owen, Kenny Chesney, Dustin Lynch, Dierks Bentley, among many others. Overall, Old Dominion’s new song “Break Up with Him” is mellow and distinct. Their sound is crisp and unique, which stands out by a mile on the country radio airwaves. Being a relationship song, that deals with the subject matter of a break-up, many male country fans can relate to its message. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
