They shared the stage with boy band Larger Than Life, Airdate and singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera, all of which were at the top of their game.
O-Town had a tremendous stage presence and their energy level was infectious; moreover, their choreography skills are still top-notch. They rocked on such tunes as “After the Light,” “Right Kind of Wrong” and the mellow “We Fit Together,” which had a laid-back vibe to it.
Another crowd favorite was their sassy “Liquid Dreams,” and the upbeat and catchy “Playing With Fire,” which was a great deal of fun. They showed their powerful vocals on “Skydive,” which was comprised of strong melodies.
They closed with their signature song, “All or Nothing,” where everybody at Mulcahy’s was reciting the lyrics verbatim. It earned them a lengthy standing ovation, and rightfully so.
The Verdict
Overall, O-Town put on a high-octane show at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall. All four band members Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood and Dan Miller were superb, and they soared on harmonies. They are certainly one of pop music’s most underrated vocal groups. O-Town’s nostalgic live show garnered an A rating.
