On February 9, Nick Tangorra performed at Stereo Garden in Patchogue on Long Island, for a good turnout.

This show was a part of the radio station 106.1 BLI’s “Shoe-Per” Bowl event, and they played for well over one thousand fans that were in attendance (for a standing-room only crowd).

The band is made up of namesake Nick Tangorra on lead vocals, Annmarie Buonaspina on guitar, and musical director Rafe Tangorra on the drums.

Several pop culture celebs in attendance were Renee Graziano from VH1’s “MobWives” and “American Idol” alum Christian Guardino.

Nick Tangorra kicked off the set with 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee Cyndi Lauper’s anthem “Girls Just Want To Have Fun,” and they immediately broke into Neon Trees’ “Everybody Talks.”

They tipped their hat to living rock and guitar legend Joan Jett with “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” and to country diva Shania Twain with “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”

Equally impressive was their version of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” (where she would have been proud) and their own original tune and fan-favorite “Boo Hoo.” The same holds true for Pink’s unapologetic “Raise Your Glass.”

They took their audience on a trip down memory lane to “Stacy’s Mom,” which turns 20 years old this year (talk about feeling old). They closed on an upbeat note with the catchy “Shut up and Dance,” which was sheer bliss.

Due to the warm reception, and everybody chanting “one more song” in a raucous response, they went on to perform The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside,” which was the quintessential singalong.
