Review: Nick Tangorra Band covers Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’ (Includes first-hand account)

The majority of the music video was filmed in black and white, which enhances its appeal. Nick collaborates with pop singer Carrie Lane, and their voices blend well together. Will Ahrens accompanies them on guitar and his older brother, Rafe, plays the drums and also served as this music video’s director.

Goulding’s original recording is featured in the 50 Shades of Grey motion picture soundtrack.

It shows Nick Tangorra’s ability to try new things, such as experiment in the electronic dance music (EDM) genre, and he and his band members are able to succeed.

The Verdict

Overall, Nick Tangorra Band makes British songstress Ellie Goulding proud on their newest cover song. They deserve a round of applause for being able to cover songs by other artists on a weekly basis, nail the vocals, and film solid music videos for each tune that they cover. Their rendition of “Love Me Like You Do” garners an A rating.
