Review: Mitch Goudy charming on new song ‘You Through My Eyes’ (Includes first-hand account)

Particularly impressive about Goudy is that he wrote “You Through My Eyes” by himself, and he accompanies himself on acoustic guitar in his video. The song was released on the label Third Floor Records. The high notes that he holds towards the end are quite exceptional, and Goudy maintains good control over his voice in this subtle performance.

“Beautiful just ain’t pretty enough, perfect has too many flaws, Sweet comes of a little bitter, and heavenly just ain’t close enough,” Goudy sings in the chorus. “Cause no words can describe, you through my eyes.”

The Verdict

Overall, “You Through My Eyes” is Mitch Goudy’s best song to date. It would make a great wedding song for his country music fans and listeners. It showcases his continuous growth as an artist, and it earns an A rating.
