It opens with his chart-topping country-rock single “Kiss You In The Morning,” and it immediately breaks into the spitfire “Another Girl,” where his vocals are reminiscent of such country artists as Dustin Lynch and Jason Aldean.
“Look Like This” is more laid-back than the two opening tracks, while “Real Men Love Jesus” is stunning with strong melodies. “Livin’ It Up” is uptempo with a liberating vibe to it and he changes the pace with the well-crafted love ballad “Run Away With You,” which Ray co-wrote with John Rich of Big & Rich.
“Think A Little Less” is another prime gem, due to its catchy melodies and instrumentation. “Wish I Was Here” is a tender ballad that tugs at the heart. “This Love” is more modern and commercial-sounding, while “Drivin’ All Night” is another keeper.
It closes with “Everything In Between,” which features vivid imagery in its lyrics, and the autobiographical ballad “Somewhere South.”
