Actor and musician Michael C. Hall and his band Princess Goes released their new single “Blur.”

Aside from actor Michael C. Hall (“Dexter” and “Six Feet Under”), Princess Goes is made up of keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie and Cyndi Lauper) and drummer Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers).

This tune “Blur” showcases a different side to their artistry; it is more ambient and it has a retro ’80s synth-pop new wave vibe to it.

The bass drum and guitar helps adds to its overall appeal, and the melody ranges from soft to piercing. It has a stirring vibe that will resonate with fans and listeners.

The song “Blur” is their sophomore single from their forthcoming full-lengthy studio album “Come of Age,” which will be released independently on September 15 via their new record label SO In De Goot.

On September 20, Princess Goes will host an album release show in Manhattan, and that will be followed by a U.K. and European tour, which will kick off on September 26 in Manchester.

“Blur” by Princess Goes is available on digital service providers by clicking here. It is worth checking out. They are not afraid to push the envelope and take risks in the contemporary music scene.
