Review: Martina McBride makes Ohio fan’s wish come true with her charity

McBride went on to surprise a female fan, Sandy, who had a very tough year, by throwing her a surprise party. “It is all a big surprise, so I’m excited. Come on in and see what happens,” McBride posted on her social media.

The woman, Sandy, became a four limb amputee this year, but her goal was to attend McBride’s concert in Zanesville, Ohio, and she had told her doctors that she wanted to recover just in time for that hometown show. The news reached McBride and her charity, and they knew something needed to be done.

At the party, McBride made a surprise appearance and introduced herself to Sandy, and subsequently embraced her, where the fan was left speechless. Once Sandy received the surprise of a lifetime, she admitted that McBride’s uplifting music has helped her through this difficult time in her life. She was really stoked that McBride and her team would do this for her. Also, Taylor Bakes Cakes baked a record player cake for that surprise occasion. The moment was very tender and poignant, and most importantly, Sandy was able to make it to that concert.

Particularly impressive about McBride is that she puts her talent and voice to good use. She is able to lend a helping hand to fans and people in need, and with the help of Team Music is Love, she can make a big difference in people’s lives.
