Review: Martina McBride pays tribute to Dolly Parton at 2016 CMA awards

McBride was joined by CMA awards co-host Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland (who also performed “Jolene” with Pentatonix), Kacey Musgraves (who also sang “Here You Come Again”) and country queen Reba McEntire. They all concluded the tribute with an empowering rendition of the Dolly Parton classic “I Will Always Love You.”

This all-star collaboration was certainly one of the many highlight moments of this year’s Country Music Association (CMA) awards, which celebrated their 50th anniversary. They made the country empress Dolly Parton proud, who was subsequently presented her Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement award by award-winning actress Lily Tomlin.
