The CD opens on a soothing note with the inspirational “Psalm 91,” which is an ode of redemption. It is followed by the mid-tempo “No Place Love Won’t Go,” with its catchy hooks, as well as the refreshing tune “Time Goes So Fast,” which would make a good choice for a future radio single.
Schultz slows down the pace with “Handed Down,” yet it is a graceful and powerful recording. Equally stunning are the follow-up “Before You Call Me Home,” “God of Glory” and the infectious “Highlands.” His vocals on “Hope Is Rising” are smooth as silk.
After the piano-driven ballad of faith, “I Am,” Schultz’ album closes with the poignant “Walking Her Home,” where he showcases his sincere storytelling ability, and the title cut “Faith,” which is worthy of the repeat button.
Follow is available on iTunes, and on Spotify.
