Review: Lukas Graham rocks on ‘7 Years’ at Highline Ballroom in New York (Includes first-hand account)

It was the fan-favorite tune, out of their entire noteworthy set-list, and the crowd really got into it from the first note, as they were singing along.

Lukas performed the song sitting on stage initially, and then he stood up and interacted well with the fans. The lyrics of “7 Years” were poignant and heartwarming, and it deserves all of its international success and critical acclaim. “7 Years” earned a rave review from Digital Journal, and while it has peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, it should be a chart-topping single.

Other vocals that they performed at Highline Ballroom included “Mama Said,” “Only One,” “Drunk in the Morning,” “Better Than Yourself,” as well as “Take the World by Storm.”

This July, Lukas Graham will be performing at The Paramount in Huntington on Long Island.

The Verdict

Overall, Lukas Graham and his band were able to form a strong connection with their fans in “The Big Apple.” Their live performance at Highline Ballroom garnered an A rating.
