Review: Long Island singer Lorena Cajes divine on new single ‘Numb’ (Includes first-hand account)

Cajes tunes should not be confused with the Linkin Park recording of the same name.

Her piano-driven “Numb” has a neat echo effect to it, and it is haunting, featuring Cajes’ breathy and controlled vocals.

“Cause somewhere in between, you’re just numb,” Cajes sings. Anybody who needs a pick-me-up moment could use a listen or two of “Numb.”

Fans and listeners can check out “Numb” as a free streaming or download on her official website.

The Verdict

Overall, “Numb” is very inspirational, and a song about inner empowerment. Many of her listeners can relate to its moving message. Cajes is not afraid to showcase her vulnerability as a contemporary recording artist, and her vulnerability is the listener’s reward. The song garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. Well done.
