Review: Lit soothing on new country single ‘Fast’ (Includes first-hand account)

Their music video for “Fast” has been featured on Country Music Television (CMT), where it has been a part of the “CMT Music 12-pack Countdown.”

Lit is able to paint a vivid picture in the minds of their listeners thanks to the moving and significant lyrics of “Fast.” “We hold on tight, to this dear sweet life, spinning our wheels with all we’ve got, trying to spot that ticking clock from going fast,” lead singer A. Jay Popoff sings.

“Fast” is available on iTunes.

While they are best known in the rock music genre, especially for their smash single “My Own Worst Enemy,” this new direction that Lit’s music is heading, in country music, seems pleasant and promising. The country radio airwaves ought to embrace this meaningful song and add it to their play-lists.

The Verdict

Overall, Lit delivers on their newest song “Fast.” They sing from the heart, and they are not afraid to showcase their vulnerability on this track, and it shows. The song is a great reminder to take things in life closely. “Fast” garners an “A” rating.
