Martin is able to give Adele’s “Hello” her own distinct twist to it, and her rendition is worthy of well more than just a passing glance. The control Martin maintains over her whistle register is quite impressive.
The Verdict
Overall, it is evident that Lisa Martin has poured her heart into this cover of “Hello.” Martin sings with a great deal of emotion, and the lyrics are backed with conviction. Adele would certainly be proud of her bravura performance. Lisa Martin’s version of “Hello” garners two thumbs up.
