Their CD opens with “Nobody Can Save Me” and it is followed by the infectious “Good Goodbye (feat. Pusha T and Stormzy),” which is a highlight track on the album, as well as “Talking to Myself.”
“Battle Symphony” shows their softer side, and it is lyrically and sonically powerful. The control that lead singer Chester Bennington maintains over his powerhouse voice is impeccable. They continue with the mid-tempo “Invisible” and their addicting radio single “Heavy,” where they collaborate with Atlantic recording artist Kiiara. The latter song is worthy of all the radio airplay that it has been receiving on New York’s top radio stations.
After the mellow ballad “Halfway Right,” their album closes with the title track “One More Light” and the refreshing pop-rock tune “Sharp Edges,” where they leave their loyal fans yearning for more.

The Verdict
Overall, Linkin Park is superb on One More Light. Chester Bennington’s voice is an eighth world wonder, and there are no filler tracks on this collection. The lyrics truly stand out and they evoke raw emotions. This record showcases their wide range as musicians, as well as their growth and maturity as a rock group. One More Light garners an A rating.
