New Divide kicked off their Linkin Park on a high-energy note, and they were utterly fantastic. They had the crowd with them every step of the way, singing along with them, as they nailed such classics as “In The End” and Numb.”

All The Blink Things played an extensive set of Blink-182 hits. They covered a great deal of their Enema of the State album with such songs as “Dumpweed,” “Don’t Leave Me,” “Aliens Exist,” “Going Away to College,” “Dysentery Gary,” and “Wendy Clear.” The most emotionally moving songs in their set were the melancholic “I Miss You,” “Adam’s Song” and Stay Together for the Kids.”
Drummer Nick Rice, as well as Lou Peragine and Steve Como on guitars and vocals covered Blink-182 like no other. Of course, they covered all of their signature songs including “Dammit,” “All The Small Things,” “Rock Show,” “First Date” and “What’s My Age Again?”
These shows were a fitting way to honor Linkin Park and Blink-182 as the summer of 2018 comes to a close, and most importantly, the sound was great last night at Mulcahy’s, which made a big difference.
The Verdict
Overall, New Divide and All The Blink Things delivered nostalgic sets at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall, and they allowed the audience to relive their youth. Both rock cover groups are worth seeing live whenever they perform in town. They both garnered an A rating for a job well done.
