Even President Donald Trump himself and his family were singing along with him. “Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away,” Greenwood sang, in the moving lyrics. He received a tremendous response from the people that were gathered to watch the inauguration live.
This past August, Greenwood became an Ambassador for Disabled American Veterans.

Overall, Lee Greenwood poured his heart out to deliver a classic performance of “God Bless the U.S.A.” He only gets better with age and experience. With a high-caliber vocal ability, Greenwood deserves to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the near future, since his songs have stood the test of time. He earned an A rating for a memorable and heartfelt performance.
