Review: Lauren Davidson releases beautiful country EP ‘Hear Me’ (Includes first-hand account)

It opens on a sassy note with “Don’t Stop,” and it is followed by the acoustic yet upbeat title track “Hear Me.” “It’s You” is a gentle ballad, featuring her gorgeous vocals, which are reminiscent of country singer and The Voice alumna Cassadee Pope. She picks up the pace of the EP with the mid-tempo and refreshing “Sometimes.” It closes on a reassuring note with the acoustic ballad “Right Here with Me.”

The Verdict

Overall, Lauren Davidson delivers on her brand new EP. Her future in the country genre seems promising, and it is no wonder that all of these big country acts recruit her as an opening act for their shows. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The country songstress chatted with Digital Journal about her EP Hear Me.

Her EP is available on Amazon and on iTunes.
