Review: Kris Allen delights on acoustic version of ‘Waves’

His acoustic version of “Waves” may be seen by clicking here.

The control that Allen maintains over his velvet vocals is incredible, and is able to give his fans and intimate and stripped down version of the lead single of his newest album, Letting You In. It was a major success when he performed it live at Gramercy Theatre on April 18.

His song’s official music video may be seen below on his YouTube channel.

The Verdict

Overall, Kris Allen proves that he gets better with each and every recording, and “Waves” is no different. He is certainly one of the most underrated singer-songwriters in the contemporary music scene.
