Review: Kendall Schmidt back with stunning ‘Division of the Heart’ video (Includes first-hand account)

Schmidt showcases his lead vocals and his acoustic guitar playing on this track, while Dustin Belt rocks the lead guitar. Schmidt’s voice is velvet and quite soothing. It displays their wide range as an electro-pop duo, and it allows their fans and listeners to hear their music in its purest form. They are backed by drums, bass and keyboards. Their song’s music video was directed by Jacob Voelzke.

“I can’t sleep without the lights on, It’s like I’m broken when you’re gone, I’ve been holding on for so long, Every second here without you, Feels like the division of the heart,” Schmidt sings.
