Review: Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt delight on ‘Happy Mistakes’ video (Includes first-hand account)

It is the title track of their latest studio album, Happy Mistakes, which was released in electric and acoustic formats and both were well-received by Digital Journal.

This video was directed by Jacob Voelzke, and it features Belt on lead guitar, coupled with Schmidt on soothing vocals and acoustic guitar.

“Even at the top of the mountain, there’s another hill to climb, so get ready for a long walk, now, so get ready for another mile,” Schmidt sings in the opening verse.

The Verdict

Overall, Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt soar on their music video for “Happy Mistakes.” It has a neat concept of them working in the studio together, and performing the tune outdoors, backed by stunning cinematography. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
