On October 17, “General Hospital” actors Josh Swickard and Chad Duell participated in a virtual fan event, which was produced by Coastal Entertainment.
Swickard plays Detective Harrison Chase, while Chad Duell portrays Michael Corinthos on the hit ABC daytime drama “General Hospital.”
If they were to write, produce and direct their own short film, Duell noted that it would be on the topic of “faith and spirituality.” “It would be something that would inspire people and myself,” he said.
“I would also probably do a fun, horror short,” Duell added. “Horror films are fun.”
Swickard shared that he would probably do a “feel-good short.” “I love a feel-good movie, one that ends happily,” Swickard admitted. “I would do something funny that would make people laugh.”
When asked what actors on the show they would like to work with more, Swickard picked “Finola Hughes,” while Duell selected “Maura West.”
Working with Kim Delaney
Swickard had great words about working with Emmy winner Kim Delaney, who plays his on-screen mom Jackie Templeton. “Kim Delaney is awesome, she is amazing,” he exclaimed. “I didn’t know much of her work before this so I did my homework and watched some of her work, and she is so good.”
“When Kim came on the show it was just a blast for me. I love working with her,” Swickard said.

‘A California Christmas: City Lights’
This winter, Swickard is starring as Joseph in the sequel of “A California Christmas,” which is titled “A California Christmas: City Lights.”
“A California Christmas: City Lights” will be released on December 16, which was directed by Shaun Paul Piccinino, and written by Lauren Swickard (Josh’s wife). “We are super proud of it, and we hope that the people like it,” Swickard said.
