Review: John King performs at Aquapalooza and it ends with a splash

Aquapalooza is country music’s biggest water party in Harrison Township, Michigan, and it was hosted on Nash FM’s sister station, Nash 93.1, where one of the highlight moments was John King singing his breakthrough single and signature love ballad “Tonight Tonight,” which is a track from his On Your Lips EP.

“I love you guys. I had a blast out here. Thank you Nash FM for playing this. I’m going to do my first single. Are you guys ready for the best night of your lives tonight?” King asked, prior to encouraging his fans to sing along with him, if they know the lyrics.

After his well-received performance, King went on to strip down from his black T-shirt, microphone equipment, belt and boots, to his blue jeans and joined the crowd by cannon-balling in the water.
