Review: Joey Suarez stunning on new ‘Candy Kid’ EP (Includes first-hand account)

The EP opens with the liberating “@Home” and it is followed by the melodically stunning “Party Monster,” which is pure ear candy. Equally fun and infectious is “Dancing By Myself,” and he really tugs at the heart on the moving ballad “Memories.” It closes with his addicting dance single “Love Me Back,” where he leaves fans wanting to hear more.

The Verdict

Overall, Joey Suarez has released a stunning new EP with Candy Kid. There is a lot of variety on this EP, and one can really hear his heart and vulnerability as a recording artist. It is recommended for fans of old school electronic music and contemporary electro pop music, since it is blend of both genres, and it works well. Candy Kid garners an A rating.

Candy Kid is available on Spotify and on Amazon.
