Review: Jessie Chris collaborates with country stars on ‘The Human Race’ (Includes first-hand account)

Chris joins such country sensations on this project as Kelsea Ballerini, LOCASH, Mickey Guyton, Lindsay Ell and Scotty McCreery, and the result is magical. This empowering tune has a moving message to it.

The single “The Human Race” was produced by Phil Guerini, Mike Daly, as well as Grammy-nominated Billy Mann. It was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and subsequently distributed by the Disney Music Group on Buena Vista Records.

The Verdict

Overall, “The Human Race” is a solid and well-crafted collaboration that is very relevant to the times that we live in, especially in the aftermath of the presidential election. It is quite powerful and it encourages unity, love, peace and respect. All artists that contributed to this project have given it their all, and it is evident that it is a labor of love. It garners an “A” rating.

In the aftermath of the Presidential election, we have all seen new levels of divisiveness in this country whether it be on social media, at the office, or in our own homes.

In addition to “The Human Race,” and in celebration of Radio Disney’s “Share the Joy” campaign, a donation is made to City of Hope, the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Toys for Tots, Feeding America, and Musicians on Call.
