Review: Jessie Chris back with gorgeous new radio single ‘1963’ (Includes first-hand account)

Her vocals on “1963” are reminiscent of such female country singer-songwriters as Taylor Swift meets Elizabeth Lyons. This song is short, sweet and extremely radio-friendly. It allows her to showcase her warm and bubbly personality, as well as sincere story-telling ability.

“A text today can mean so much, back in the day, lovers proved pure love, it seems so hard to find a guy,” she sings, in its nostalgic and heartfelt lyrics.

It is no wonder that Radio Disney selected Jessie as a face for its anti-bullying campaign, and rightfully so.

The Verdict

Overall, Jessie Chris does it again. She has released yet another excellent radio single “1963,” which is a breath of fresh air. This song garners an A rating. Kudos to Jessie for a job well done.
