Review: Jeannie Seely earns star on Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame (Includes first-hand account)

Ever-gracious, Seely expressed that she is very “grateful, thrilled and blessed” to accept that special accolade. Seely was in great company. She was joined by such esteemed musicians as Ray Stevens, Brenda Lee, and Nashville pop artist Ben Folds.

Country star Trisha Yearwood introduced Seely, and then “Miss Country Soul” delivered a gracious acceptance speech. The induction ceremony took place at the Music City Walk of Fame Park, in downtime Nashville.

Next month, on September 16, Seely will be celebrating her 51st year anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
