Actor and musician Jason Schmidt released his new single “My Ego Loves You.”

The song is sassy, upbeat, and he showcases some spunk. His resonant vocals are reminiscent of Emmy nominee William Lipton (“General Hospital”) with elements of Neon Trees (“Everybody Talks”).

It encompasses elements of indie, pop-rock, alternative, and adult contemporary music. It is unapologetic, radio-friendly, and a great deal of fun. The lyrics are relevant and relatable.

“My Ego Loves You” is available on Apple Music, Spotify and other digital service providers by clicking here. This tune is worth checking out. Hopefully, there will be a lot more music in the future from this promising talent.

Presently, Jason Schmidt is starring in the brand new Broadway show “The Outsiders” as Sodapop alongside Brody Grant (as Ponyboy), which is in previews, and it will open on Thursday, April 11.

Last year, Schmidt starred in the Paramount+ series “Grease: Rise of The Pink Ladies.”
