Review: Jason Michael Carroll soars on country single ‘God Only Knows’ (Includes first-hand account)

It is a track from his forthcoming full-length studio album, What Color Is Your Sky, which will he will release independently, on May 5.

His baritone vocals on the upbeat “God Only Knows” are refreshing and smooth, and reminiscent of such acclaimed country artists as Tracy Lawrence meets Jason Aldean. The background vocals are soothing and its chorus is infectious. Many listeners can relate to this song’s message.

“Well you packed your bags, and when you looked back, I sat and watched you go, What was I thinking? God only knows,” he sings.
