Wilson is one of the founding members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group Heart, and she has teamed up with former Prince band member and R&B vocalist Liv Warfield to form a new super group called ROADCASE ROYALE.
The group’s music encompasses elements or R&B and blues. They deliver on their debut song “Get Loud,” which has a neat groove to it. “Get Loud” made its premiere after the “Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out!” that was live-streamed on Facebook. It is a compelling anthem for women’s equality.
In this band, Warfield sings lead vocals, with Wilson on guitar and backing vocals. In addition, Ryan Waters is featured on lead guitar, as well as Heart band members Chris Joyner on keyboards, Dan Rothchild on bass and Ben Smith on drums.
ROADCASE ROYALE has already recorded five new original songs, and they plan on touring this year. Wilson underscored that Heart is not going away, and that this is not a replacement for Heart, and it is more of a side project. She subsequently noted that the name of the band was derived during a backstage meeting they had last year.
